Years of Testing, A Commitment to Safety

Candle-making isn’t just about melting wax and adding fragrance. It’s a science. Every single candle we sell has undergone rigorous, in-depth testing to ensure that it burns safely and evenly. No candler should ever sell a product without thoroughly testing it first, and we stand by that belief.

Each of our candles is test-burned for a minimum of 20-30 hours to guarantee proper wick performance, clean burning, and an optimal scent throw. We carefully balance the wick size, wax type, and fragrance load to make sure your candle burns slowly, cleanly, and safely in your home.

Why Coconut Apricot Wax?

We use a high-end coconut apricot wax blend because it’s one of the best waxes available today. Not only is it sustainable, eco-friendly, and vegan, but it also burns slower and cleaner than traditional paraffin wax. This means you get more hours of enjoyment from your candle, without the soot or toxins that come from mass-produced alternatives.

Phthalate-Free Fragrances & Thoughtful Ingredients

Your health matters. That’s why all of our fragrance oils are phthalate-free, ensuring that our candles are free from harmful chemicals commonly found in big-box store candles. We source only high-quality fragrance and essential oils to create rich, complex scents that fill your space without being overpowering.

Small-Batch, Hand-Poured in Middle Tennessee

Unlike factory-made candles, every Walston Ridge candle is hand-poured in small batches in our home-based candle shop in Middle Tennessee. This allows us to maintain the highest level of quality control—no mass production, no cutting corners, just beautifully crafted candles made with intention and care.
